Getting help from one of those despicable lowlifes? Inconceivable! Yvette shook such thoughts out of her head, embarrassed that this place had already gotten her to consider such desperate options.

No. She was a princess. Her station was above that of anyone within this place. She'd simply get in contact with one of the guards of this place, or any other law enforcement entity of that nature, and order them to whisk her away from this dreadful place without having to deal with any of the nasty things locked up in here. It was a perfect plan, as were all plans concocted by her royal highness, Yvetta di Rancelle.

In fact, Yvette didn't even had to travel far in her brave journey before her plan began to bear fruit. Light and footsteps began to emanate from the end of the hallway as one of the guards finally made their appearance, a minotaur woman who was obviously on her patrol shift. She was clad from head to toe in a simple set of armour, one made to fit someone horns and cloven feet, armed with a torch and a steel mace by her hip. Her imposing figure, from the heavy set of muscles visible beneath all the armour and fur to the imposing height even to her peers, would have made her a formidable sight to an ordinary human.

In Yvette's mind, someone like her was the most perfect option to enact her rescue plan. Minotaurs were strong, simple, and equipped with exceptional instincts to navigate these labyrinthine underground hallways. She was looking bigger than minotaurs usually did, as expected, but not that intimidating in the end, not to Yvette. Like all guards, she would revere and protect her superior in no time.

"You there! This is an order from her highness Yvetta di Rancelle! You are to carry me to the surface at once!"

Her message was brought to the guard's attention by her clear, authoritative tone... or at least it should have. The guard kept lumbering forward like she hadn't heard anything. This, in turn, made her realize that she hadn't heard anything either. Her normally strong, royal voice had no reach, no echo, and the reality of that hitting her was simply the first crack on Yvette's confidence in her brilliant plan. More would appear as it became increasingly clear that the guard was not as close as the princess originally thought.

It was a natural reaction. After all, this was the first time she was meeting another living being after having been sent here, and a very big one at that. Her true size began to creep into Yvette's mind at a steady yet alarming pace, as each clack of her hoofs against the cold stone became stronger and stronger, as each step began to jolt the diminished woman's body more and more. The minotaur's figure began to creep higher, wider, bigger than the princess would have expected to have been possible for a living being. She was facing a living, breathing mountain, one that had been unable to hear her voice and who was getting closer by the second.

Yvette had to act fast, or the decision would be made for her.
