“AAAHHHHHH!!”

Alvet lets out an uncharacteristically-shrill scream as a trap door swings open beneath her. Horrified at the barbarian woman’s possible fate, you fly down past the trap door to see precisely where she’d landed.

Luckily for you both, Alvet’s fall, while slightly painful, wasn’t far enough that it could be considered fatal to someone as tough as her. Hell, she’s actually used to close calls and rough impacts! Still, you flutter over to the warrior and ask if she’s alright.

“Thy concern is appreciated, small fairy!” Alvet responds. “I am fine. This slight fall hath nothing on my duel with the Skydra, or that time when my parents came to visit…”

*Hisssssss*

A sinister hissing sound echoes through the dark chamber that Alvet had plummeted into, the room illuminated only by the light of your fairy powers. A feminine figure approaches the two of you - her blonde hair and slim build seem like nothing out of the ordinary, but her pupils appear to be slitted. What strikes you as terrifying is a serpentine tail where a pair of legs ought to be…

You and Alvet have found yourselves in a snake girl pit! And more of them slither out of the shadows, looking quite ravenous.

“What’ssss your hurry?” One of the snake girls asks. “Sssstay a while…”

“Sssstay for the rest of your lives!”

Alvet draws her sword in preparation for the impending battle…while you fly behind her and cower.
