You aren’t spared so much as a second to decide whether or not Eilidon can help you escape this maze of a prison, as the elven cleric begins chanting something in a language unfamiliar even to fairies like yourself — and you are instantly surrounded by a gleaming, white magic circle. Strange symbols rotate around your fluttering form, which then starts to take on a similar glow. In mere moments, you vanish entirely from your current position…

Only to reappear on the ground, right in front of Eilidon’s towering (albeit still seated) frame! Had she been aware of you this whole time? Maybe you should make a break for it after all…

“Ah! There you are…” Eilidon’s eyes flash open before you can do anything about your situation. She reaches an ebony hand in your direction. You cower and brace for your fateful demise…

…except that it doesn’t come, since the elf’s hand reaches past you in order to grab something else! Something that she had caused to levitate via her powers. Judging from the object’s red color, brown stem, and sweet aroma, it seems that Eilidon had called forth…an apple.

“Sustenance at last!”

*CRUNCH*

So she was just hungry, then. Well, at least she didn’t grab and devour you! But how long will it be until she does? At your size, you’d be an easy meal! Then again, this woman with the looks of a cleric may be your only chance at breaking out of here, or at least surviving.
