Back to the Birdcage Winning Her Back chapter 8 by northgate_1

Jack sees his other options are worse and says "OK, I'll go back to Zoe's room."  Kate takes him back inside.  She stops in the kitchen and sets Jack down on the table.  She asks him   "You sure you don't want to be my little pet instead.  You can rub my feet and rub moisturizer on them every night after I finish work.  I'll even let you take a bath with me."  she says with a smile.  "No" Jack replies, "Just take me back to Zoe."

Her mom gets a drink of water and comes back with a length of string.  She sits down towering over Jack.   She takes a sip of her drink and asks "So how is it being so tiny and lorded over by my daughter.  You wanted to be with her more than anything.  I was willing to let you go free but you decided to go back to her.  There must be some aspect that deep down you really like.  Being her slave and having to do nothing but wait around for her to worship her.   I don't get it.  Explain it to me."

Jack says "I don't know.  I guess I didn't think this out.  I only thought of the best possible outcome not all the other things that could happen.  Please will you help me get restored to normal?"  Kate laughed "And what are you going to do for me?"  Jack thinks about it and replies "I've been saving for a new car.  I almost have $2000.  I'll give it to you."

Kate gives Jack a poke and knocks him on his ass and laughs "That's tempting but I think I like seeing what Zoe will do to you better."  She takes the string and ties it around his ankles and then lifts the other end leaving him dangling from the end upside down.  "This is fun" she says "I think I'll tell Zoe when she's done with you, I'll take you as my foot slave.   That will be a good use for you.  Now let's get you back where you belong."

Kate carries Jack back to Zoe's room dangling from the end of the string.   When she gets to Zoe's room, she ties the string to the top of the cage leaving Jack dangling inside the cage.  "Now when Zoe gets home, she's going top want to know how you ended up hanging upside down in your cage.  I want you to tell her all about how you asked me to help you and offered me a $2000 bribe. If you don't tell her everything I will tomorrow morning and she'll really be mad at you for lying to her."  She re-locked the cage door and put the key back in the desk . 

As she left, she laughed "Now you have fun hanging around until Zoe gets back, you little boy toy."  Jack tries to maneuver to get free but it is no use and he's as left hanging by his ankles until Zoe will get back.  Jack laments to himself how this keeps getting worse.
