Cali says "Let's play a game."  and the other two agree.  Blake gets up to get the game they agreed on and Cali asks Anna, "What are you going to do with him?  I mean if you take him home he could escape and get to your sister or mom.  There would be hell to pay.  But I could take him for you. It's just me and my mom and she's always working at the hospital so I'm usually home alone.  You can come over whenever you want to play with him."

Blake comes back with the game and says "What you guys talking about?|  Anna tells her what she is considering and she says "No fair.  I could take him too.  It would be the same deal and face it Cali you can be really mean sometimes."

Anna thinks about this and says "I have an idea.  Let's let fate decide.  We play the game and the winner get the little guy for a week.  If I win, I'll decide if I am taking home or giving him to one of you.  I might still turn him over to Zoe."

Jack speaks up and says "Don't I have a say in this?" and they all laugh at him.  Cali tells him "You're a little bug.  You have no say anymore."  She turns to Anna and says "He need to learn his place in the world not be cuddled."  Blake immediately responds saying "He's so little and defenseless.  I mean a baby bird could attack him.  He needs us to protect and take care of him."  

Cali takes an empty glass tumbler she had been drinking from and drops Jack in it trapping him.  "OK Blake, now he is safe from the big bad world and he won't wander off while we are playing.  Jack bangs on the glass walls but they ignore him and start to get up the game.

They start the game and it seems to go one for over an hour when there is finally a winner and to Jack's relief it is Anna.  She leans back and thinks and tells her friends, she decided and that ...
