Because you were not thinking about where to go but just about going somewhere, your steps take you to a familiar place after about 10 minutes, you frown a bit when you see is Kyle's house. Kyle has been your best friend since high school, a soft spoken lanky guy that happened to share most of your dorky interests, at least the safe for work ones. Of course he has no clue about your fascination with this particular kink, it's not something that you can just discuss with anyone, but being more of a fan of roleplay stuff like you maybe he could see the fun side of it. That's if you decided to tell him, something that never crossed your mind until today.
You wonder if you should say hi first, hang out with your friend a bit before testing this thing since you have that trip with your family tomorrow, but decide against it both for fear of coming across as awkward with an impromptu visit, and because a part of you wants to stop delaying the inevitable and finally see what's the big deal behind this app.
"Ok, let's check this again.. Holy shit, this is scary" You casually stand near the house, take out your phone and use the app again, the radius covering part of Kyle's house but not all of it. What surprises you is how certain information is showing, information that makes you believe this is no gimmick. It was one thing to see the list of objects on your room, back then you thought it was the app simply using the camera, but here you are seeing some objects you KNOW are in Kyle's house, like that fancy robotic vacuum cleaner his mother uses, or the vinyl player that is in the living room used by Kyle's father. How did it get that kind of information?
And in that option you checked earlier you see the names of 4 people, with one of them intermittently appearing and disappearing. One of them is you, the other is Kyle, the other is Kyle's mother Joyce and the last one is Natalie, Kyle's older sister that you crushed on for a bit years ago much to your friends' amusement.
Speechless, you move a bit closer to make Natalie's name stop disappearing and raise an eyebrow when an "unknown" option appears, noticing an old lady that just crossed the street and for a few moments is in the radius while walking past you. You again wonder how the app works, if is taking the information from your contacts list or something like that, before you finally remember what you came for.
The only problem is you still don't have an idea of who to pick. Yourself? it makes sense, but it also scares you, specially doing it outside. It also scares you to pick someone else though, what would happen? you would have to say hi or even sneak in to know what was going on. You could also in theory do nothing, but that's the biggest problem. After seeing the kind of information the app was getting, you are convinced it does something. And you are too tempted now.
