You pick up the dual-colored pill on your dresser - judging from the container of similar pills not far away, you assume that these pills are meant to provide relief from stomachaches. Figuring that you’ll have no need to take the pill anytime soon, you decide to transform into it.
The second you press ‘Confirm’ on the app, you feel an incredibly strange sensation throughout your entire body - thankfully not one of pain, but still very difficult to describe. Your physical body is sucked into the screen and converted into a digital file, while your consciousness is transferred into the little pill.
You’re very fortunate to have retained your human senses, though they are now tied to the object your soul currently inhabits. Despite your current lack of eyes or limbs, you can still see everything around you, and feel the wood beneath you.
You try to cheer at the confirmation that this app actually works…only to discover that as a pill, you don’t have a working mouth. Well, at least the app’s timer will change you back to human form in ten minutes, provided you avoid any unexpected intrusions.
As if fate is out to spite you, your medicine body picks up a series of tremors. Somebody’s coming to your room!
“Son?” You recognize that voice - it’s your mother, Valerie, wearing a sports bra and yoga pants! She’s looking for you! “Hello? You in here?”
Whoops, it seems like you’d forgotten to lock your door after Sophia went out. You really didn’t like when people entered your room without permission.
“Hmm…I wonder if he’d be mad at me if I took this pill here…” your mother muses to herself after spotting you on the dresser. You’re overwhelmed by dizziness and vertigo when her hand reaches down, snatches you up, and raises you toward her face. “But this stomachache is killing me!”
You attempt to scream up to your mother, but no sound comes out that she can hear. She opens her mouth wide and places your transmogrified body on her waiting tongue, where you quickly feel her warm breath and a coating of sticky saliva. Valerie then tilts her head back and lets out a powerful gulp, swallowing your pill form down her esophagus in mere seconds. If you weren’t a terrified bit of medicine, you’d applaud your mom for being able to swallow a pill without any water!
In little time at all, you're constricted by your mother’s tight throat muscles and forced through a small sphincter before finally plummeting into her stomach with a splash. The juices are shockingly quick to start dissolving you, the pain becoming too much to bear in mere seconds, and you black out for a while.
Valerie, meanwhile, is rubbing her exposed belly in an effort to break down the pill faster. “Wow, these pills are fast-acting! I wonder where my son went, though…”
