"U-um, hello there," you squeaked, not sure at all of yourself and not wanting to provoke her ire.
The giant's ears twitched at the noise, her eyebrows jumped in mild surprise and then a (relatively) small smile graced the mountain-sized mare's lips.
"Ah, so he can speak. Funny, I was beginning to wonder if I was dealing with a little bug. Since you're feeling talkative, would you mind telling me your name, little one?" Her voice contained a teasing lilt, with just a little bit of mirth behind it.
Her face looming right next to you was unnerving, and you could feel the moist flow of air pushing your hair back every time she exhaled. Her breath was sweet and smelled strongly of hay or alfalfa. Given that she's a horse woman that's likely what she had for dinner that night.
Still, the warmth in her tone was unmistakable, and it made you relax your shoulders a little bit.
You took in a deep breath. gulped down your fears and expelled a puff of air from your nose. before continuing. "Y-yes, Miss Giant Horse Lady ma'am, my name's Anon and I'm a human being. I uh... I'm... not really from around here."
She folded her hand beneath her chin in deep thought. "That much is obvious. I have never seen a creature of you like before, not in my many years of living. Since we're in the midst of introducing ourselves, you may call me Luna. I am the mistress of the night, the realm of dreams is my dominion over which I have absolute control, and I wield that power to ensure that my subjects receive a restful night's sleep. You can imagine my surprise and shock when I sensed something new entering from the Aether. Tell me, Anon, from what land do you hail?"
That was going to be a difficult question to answer. Would she believe that a mystical portal appeared in your living room and you threw yourself in on a whim?
Well... Honesty was the best policy, and you had a feeling that she would be able to tell if you're lying. "Well... Miss Luna... would you believe that I come from another world? There was a portal that suddenly appeared in my room and things led to another I came forth into it and landed someone sleeping." You gulped a bit nervous but remained even, You continue. "I went to her head to wake her up and get her attention but was futile and..." The last part was a bit hard, it would involve the fact you climbed into her exposed cleavage and currently asleep nestled in it.
"I...see.," she said slowly while nodding her head, "The initial jump was intentional, where you ended up was where the misstep occurred. I thank you for your honesty on the matter."(edited)
You perked up on this "Excuse me but... what are you talking about?" Was your entrance to this dimension, intentional?
"I mean that you chose to come here without knowing where you would land, and thus found yourself in your current predicament," she clarified. "I know not of what created the portal or whether it was natural or not, I was merely making an observation."
"Oh..." You stated, " Well... Ket's just say I'm sort of stuck in a sensitive situation, and in trying to get out I exhausted myself and that's where I fell asleep," you confessed sheepishly.
Luna's normally calm gaze instantly took on an air of deep concern. "Oh my! Are you quite alright? You're not hurt, are you?"
You rapidly shook your head and waved your hands. "Oh, no no no. Believe me, I'm somewhere very soft and very safe. In fact, when I'll probably be able to escape when I get all my strength and energy back. It's just that the location I'm stuck in is a little bit questionable."
Luna took about a minute to respond, carefully poring over everything you'd told her before she said...
