Just as the princess reached her destination a gray fog began lifting from the ground and coalesced at your feet, creating a strange blanket of mist that seemed to partially obscure everything.
The fog collected around the edges of your vision, slowly swirling in closer and closer until it became very difficult to see. You didn't dare move, thinking that this was some kind of trick from Celestia to try and lure you out, you stood stock still and kept your expression as neutral as possible, even as the image of her became so clouded and dusty that you could barely make her out.
Soon, the mist in your eyes built up so much that you couldn't see anything at all, just the smoky grey, swirling darkness wrapping your entire body like a security blanket.
And then, just like that, the fog cleared away and you found yourself standing in a new place.
