Celestia prepares for the Gala - and takes you ...
Ultimate Human in Equestria Story
Chapter 16
Celestia slumped her shoulders in defeat and groaned softly. "...I hate this. It's completely pointless. Imagine one night every year of having to stand around and mingle with the type of ponies you despise most while being bored out of your mind and just wishing it would end already. What kind of drooling imbecile came up with this idea anyhow?"
Without skipping a beat the raven-haired assistant replied, "According to official record, you did, as a royal decree in Year 227 of your reign for the purpose of fostering unity between—"
Celestia placed an exasperated hand on her forehead and waved her off."Stop, stop, stop. Yes, I know it was me, that was merely a rhetorical question. I don't need a history lesson, thank you. Of course, it was me. Past Celestia had no idea of the suffering she would put herself through and thought it was a good idea at the time, and now Present Celestia is too chicken to back out of it now because that's what everypony expects of her."
A shiver ran down through her body and caused her breasts to quake, upsetting your position and forcing you to have to grab hold to avoid sliding down into the crevasse."Ugh, chickens, just hearing the name makes my fur stand on end," she muttered softly under her breath, so soft that only you could hear.
"I could inform them that you will be unable to attend because of a prior engagement and make up some story to appease them. They'll probably buy it, too." Raven suggested.
Celestia was tempted, sorely tempted to go through with just that, but after a moment's hesitation shook her head. "No... Twilight and her friends will likely be there and I would be remiss in avoiding spending time with my most faithful student. I'll go, and in a few years it will be solely her problem and not mine."
