You decide to go to the twins room, as Mrs. Cake will bring the twins back to their room and when that happens you will have a chance to get her attention some way. The other options just sounded riskier, as going to the kitchen implied the daunting task of going downstairs (you reasoned byt the time you make it there the family would have finished eating already) and waiting for them in your room wouldn't bring you any closer to them, as Mrs. Cake and her family respected your privacy as much as they respected Pinkie Pie's.

With your route chosen, you walk towards the twins room, too busy thinking about your next room to marvel at how different everything looks from your perspective. The wood no longer echoed your footsteps but the air of the house still had that cozy atmosphere of the friendly ponies that accepted you and gave you a roof as a strange species in Ponyville, and in a way that's all that mattered.

You think about where to position yourself to maximize your chances of getting Mrs. Cake attention once she gets the twins back to their room, near the door? near the cradle? near the laundry hamper maybe? Like Pinkie, you don't visit that room too often, so maybe there are other places..But then again, you also think about the twins finding you and if you want them to find you. Surely they would help right? You don't see them a lot but they are aware of you as a housemate, there's no way they would confuse you with a toy or with something else.

Halfway there, you think about Pinkie Pie, the pony that helped you the most settling in Ponyville. Was she around? Probably not, when the shop is closed you know she likes to spend her time with her other pony friends, including the one that made a portal to bring you here and that was still "working on a solution" going from the last time you spoke to her about it, a while ago. You recall the events again and decide that reaching Pinkie has to be a priority, because the only strange thing that you did before waking up like this was eating that special cupcake, but you figure out that would have to wait for now. First things first, reaching Mrs. Cake

You smile at the half open door to the twins' room and entering there decide to stay near the cradle, a safe space for you to wait until Mrs. Cake appeared. You would have to be quick once she arrived, but you wouldn't have a risk of getting stepped on or noticed by anyone else.
