You say nothing, but tighten your hold on it, making it cry out in pain.
"Please!" the Nightmare begged,"H-have mercy! I-I-I'll do anything!"
You smirk and raise an eyebrow at that, Is this really the same creature that terrified a nation?
Pathetic.
"I'll be good, I promise. I swear on my name that I won't cause any more trouble for as long as I live."
How can we be sure you won't go back on your word? Alicorns live for a very long time. ..
"You can erase my memory, place a seal on my power, anything, just don't kill me!"
You consider her words carefully. It was true that you COULD do all of those things, you were an accomplished wizard after all, and there would be little risk in casting those spells to your body. To cast the spell however you would have to release her and hope she doesn't immediately bum rush the egg.
You have to make a decision quickly, because you can feel the Nightmare's stuggles already weakening your hold.
