You don't know what happened to make them take the job on a hospital but for what you could gather of the most professional and official members of the staff that came in to check you, they were volunteering nurses, apparently the attack on Metropolis by Omelleta caused an large amount of damage on the infrastructure and alot of injured civilian that were filling in and well, Amy, Cream and Vanilla joined in to help, Rouge come in after you got inducted into the hospital. However while there were dozens of injured, very few are males so they tend to act like this as.. well.. they were straight or BI, for that matter, in a world full of estrogen, testosterone was very welcome and an straight woman seeing an man is like an wolf seeing fresh amd juicy meat.

For what you understand, Station Square and other human cities and settlement had been quarantine themselves after the terrorist attack that affected the world decades ago due to female terrorist group decades ago and there hadn't been contact from them in a long while and was previously though that humanity of this world was extinct, only recently has been confirmed the opposite, they were affected all the same but not as significantly as the Mobians.
