Traveling the Multiverse
Chapter 7
You decided to travel to the Mushroom Kingdom, a place that brought a lot of memories of childhood, since you played a lot of games when you were younger.
You made sure to pick one that was often as bright and happy as it appeared to be, having no desire to start off in a grimdark Mushroom Kingdom where Bowser lived up to the title of Demon King of the Koopas.
You picked one where if you were captured and cried long enough, you'd be freed. Embarrassed and made fun of for a time, but freed. Still, you knew it would have plenty of dark moments.
There were plenty of creatures that stared at you as you passed by. You suspected if you talked with them, they'd talk back.
Eventually, you neared a village. Going by what you could see, it had Mushroom people, proving you really were in the Mushroom Kingdom.
"Excuse me, but my name is Anon and I am a traveler. Could you let me know where some places you could suggest I visit and what ones to avoid?" You asked.
The mushroom person smiled before he said, "Well, There's Peach's castle about ten miles away, but you can take a bus there. If you need coins for it, just grab some from a floating block, but be careful."
"Oh?" You asked.
"There's a Super Crown powerup epidemic. Someone's managed to spread around Super Crowns where they effect anyone and they don't wear off, no matter what!" The toad answered.
"Well, I do have some spells, though I am a novice, compared to my grandma. I might be able to do something to help fix it," You replied.
"Then let Princess Peach know. She's looking for anyone who can help!" The toad said. "But don't be too surprised if you get rejected by the changed people. Some of them really enjoy looking like Peach and the fact there seems to be no cure."
"Thank you, but who are you?" You asked.
"I'm Toad-do," The Toad said.
"Well, have a nice day, Toad-do," you said before you left.
You managed to get a few coins from a few blocks and headed to the bus stop.
