The screen on your lexicon flashed purple, which soon became overlaid with a flashing yellow warning sign, complete with an exclamation mark. You pressed the flashing button and as soon as you did several pages of text and data tables filled your screen. You waited while the tablet finished tabulating and then swiped over to the first screen, eager to read the entire report of just what happened to this little girl.
What you found was both interesting and disturbing. Lillie's body didn't completely flush out the Nihilego venom after it stung her, in fact, some it remained inside to this very day. Much of what remained inside her accumulated in the ovaries, slowly building up in the spaces around the latent eggs and simply staying there. You would expect that such an accumulation of toxins would kill off or destroy the ova, leaving Lillie sterile for the rest of her life, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
Surprisingly enough, the egg cells seemed to thrive under this environment, far from the sad and sorry state you would've expected.
In other words, Lillie's future children were as strong and healthy as could be. Huh. Maybe you need to gather a sample of this Nihilego poison for yourself sometime and study its effects for yourself.
