Much like how ponies are required to control the forces of nature, (turn the seasons, move the sun and moon and grow and take care of plants and wildlife, etc.) some pony bodies likewise require their own special regulatory power to control their own natural processes. The Lexicon Tablet droned.
Unlike most organisms of the Terran variety, where homeostasis is maintained by what basically amount to mindless biological machines. Due to a strong presence of magic in Equestria things operate a little bit differently. In fact, most ponies have their own collective of sapient organisms that work to maintain bodily function, forming their own cities and societies with most cell types controlling a different section of the body. A peculiar trait of these organisms, which will henceforth be known as "Pony cells" is that they tend to resemble their hosts in both mannerism and appearance, though some slight or even significant differences can and do occur.
Universe Selected are normal sized ponies as living being in such astronomical size is impossible but due to such proximity to O&D multiverse cluster make this kind of universe possible. Some ponies are aware that their cells are concious with ponylike features and mindsets and that their bodies are living cities, with some levity they allow tourism, educative or research journeys inside of their bodies using a shrinking spell or potion in exchange of a fine, however, most ponies are competely unaware unless informed and confirmed and some ponies may have normal bodies complete with mindless, autonomous, normal cells.
Portal also has a strong shrinking spell, anyone who enter will become micro sized.

Ok, so, Inside a normal pony body is pretty much a living, sapient planet with a bunch of smaller ponies that work together to control or regulate the whole body to mantain it healthy.

Are these cellular ponies then made up of smaller ponies?Exactly how far down does this go? Are they all individuals with different hopes and dreams outside of their jobs?
