In the center of town surrounded by buildings in a great circular pattern and flanked by the Ponyville river stands the second tallest building in town (after the absolutely humongous Castle of Friendship of course), the Town Hall.
Built in a three-tiered construction like a giant wedding cake and surrounded by windows on all sides, the structure has a distinctive charm that catches the eye of all those who visit the town.
After what happened you had decided that you would pay Town Hall a visit to check on the Mayor since she cleared out of your home so quickly without you even having a chance to speak to her.
Ignoring any and all attempts to penetrate your barriers from passing mares, you cross the bridge leading into the square (more of a big circle really) and stand in front of the grand building, looking up and admiring the view.
So this is where the mayor works, huh? Honestly, it doesn't look like a bad venue, not at all
After a further moment's hesitation, step forward, pull open the double doors, and head on inside.
A grand hall meets upon entering that looks way too big for even the huge building you'd seen outside, and far ahead of you sits a bespectacled off-white unicorn with a moderate brown mane and eyes of burnt orange.
A brass nameplate sitting on the desk reads "Writing Desk". The unicorn busily scribbles at a sheet of paper, seemingly unaware of your entry. Despite having few visitors during the heat season she was trying her best to keep busy or at least look the part.
You cough to try and get her attention but she waves you off without looking up and says "Sign in, please."
You roll your eyes in response and pick up the quill and inkwell begin writing.
Guess even in alternate universes there are some things that never
This unicorn looked rather familiar.
You couldn't quite put your finger on it but you're sure you've seen her somewhere before...
When you finish signing your name the unicorn finally looks up and gives you her best, most professional smile that makes your heart skip a beat because of how cute it is.
"Hello there, and welcome to Town Hall. What seems to be the troub-bub-bub-bub..."
She stutters like a broken record and then trails off and stares, agape, at your very human and very male presence.
Her glasses slide cutely down her snout before she pushes them and recovers before weakly asking, "H-how may I help you today sir?"
You say politely, "I'd like to see the mayor, please. She came to my house yesterday as a courtesy call and had to leave suddenly, so I thought I'd just come in to check on her real quick to see if she's alright. If not, I'll just come in another time when you're not so... um... busy."
