Yo no only saw the usual five faces but also the head and face of Kakashi and Naruto himself which means two things, this was the Baruto timeline which also means that the main clusterfuck of Shippuden has long happened but it was also a period of peace, the show tends to follow more of the Naruto's kid rather than Naruto himself, he is no longer the protagonist of the show but they're important side characters alongside Sasuke, Sakura and the rest of the gang that are now living quiet lives.
Maybe not Sasuke, he is aloof and distant after reaching some sort of enlightenment where he finally finds himself to forgive the leaf, somehow. Honestly, you didn't see much of Naruto Shippuden during the Fourth Shinobi War, you did saw the final fights with Madara and Kaguya.
Either way, You have a mission here and was to observe and study the techniques and made them your own, Maybe make a small life here if possible, Naruto is a trusty, good guy but he is the Hokage now and knows the serious responsibility that involves it
