You were about to reattempt your spellcasing, when suddenly you felt a hand on your shoulder. Looking over, you could see that Sally had apparently escaped her binds on her own, and was giving you a smirk in the dim light—one that told you "Stay calm, I got this." She gently straightened you up before walking carefully to the back of the van, bracing against each bump the vehicle hit until it came to a stop.
The doors then opened. "Okay, we'll get the shapeshifter first, then the pri—what?! How did—!?"

 

The kidnapper didn't have a chance to finish his gobsmacked question before Sally Acorn kicked him square in the stomach, sending him reeling for a few moments. His partner attempted a punch, but the squirrel effortlessly ducked beneath, grabbing his arm and lifting him up nigh-effortlessly to slam him into the ground. By that point, the first had gotten back up and attempted a lunge that was countered with a roundhouse kick. It was clear to you that these guys were absolutely nothing compared to Sally, and you were too fixated watching the fight through the van doors to even focus on your restraints.


Eventually, after a loud THUD against the side of the van, both assailants were knocked unconscious. "That'll show them for getting the jump on me," she muttered, rubbing her wrists as she walked back in—seems she injured them while escaping her restraints, though it didn't bother her too much as she goes and undoes yours. "You alright, kid?"
"Y-yeah, mostly," you answered, taking a moment to finally look at her closely as you left the van—she was dressed in just her classic outfit of a jacket and boots, with only her fur doing what it can to preserve the modesty of her enhanced curves. "I-I could've handled that, you know."
"Oh, you probably could. They called you a shapeshifter, huh? But I had a score to settle with these two ingrates, and didn't want to wait on it." She nudged one of the kidnappers, satisfied by how his arm lifelessly flopped over. "We best get out of here before they wake up—you have anywhere to go?"
"Uh, n-no."
"Alright, then, you can tag along with me." You tried hard not to blush at the thought of being alongside Sally Acorn, especially with how busty she now was. "How good a runner are you?"
"Um... I'm... half-decent...?"
"I can work with that," the squirrel noted with a shrug, doing one last check inside the van before pushing both kidnappers inside and closing its doors hard. She then...
