The sparks flowing from the end of the wand surrounded Honoka and became a blinding white light after a moment. A small "Eep!" could be heard from Honoka before the light subsided and she was gone. Nowhere to be seen. All that remained of her was the pile of clothes she was just wearing.
"W-what happened to her?" asked Kotori, worried about her friend.
"I don't know... I don't think Honoka intended it to be pointed at herself though," replied Umi.
"We have to see if she's okay!" Kotori turned to look at Umi, who nodded in agreement.
The girls climbed the pile of discarded clothes Honoka left behind. When they entered the pile, a distinct smell belonging to their friend permeated the air.
"It sure was a hot day... Honoka's clothes are covered with her sweat..." Umi said while her face scrunched in disgust from the unappealing smell.
Kotori on the other hand rather enjoyed the smell, it made her feel tingly all over, like she was getting a firsthand taste of intimacy with the leader of μ's.
The girls dug through the mountain of clothes, going past Honoka's oversized tank top, pink bra, and jean shorts, while being careful not to fall into her worn panties or steamy socks. They finally reached what they figured was the center of the clothes pile and started calling out to their friend.
"Honoka!" "Where are you! "Talk to us!" Umi and Kotori both shouted various times. After a minute of searching the girls heard a near imperceptible squeaking sound coming from nearby. Digging through Honoka's other sock, they found something that shocked both of them.
Thankfully, they had located Honoka, but she seemed to have shrunk herself as well accidentally. Not only that, she was much, much smaller than both Kotori and Umi. Barely coming up to their toes in height. Honoka was shouting something, but it was hard for Umi and Kotori to hear what she was saying. She was butt naked and trapped by the twisted fibers of her own black sock, tangled up in the knitting like a piece of lint.
Umi couldn't help but stifle a giggle while she ran over to help Honoka free. She stepped into the smelly sock and pulled on the fibers wrapped around Honoka's arms until the even tinier girl fell to the "floor". Kotori found her childhood friend's new size absolutely adorable, and could truly see the appeal of size changing now. Umi also found it admittedly cute, but now wondered what they should do. Neither decided to comment on seeing the fully nude body of their leader, they were sure Honoka was embarrassed enough as is.
"I'm glad you're okay, Honoka, we should *urk* Hold on a moment..." Umi interrupted herself as she got a huge whiff of Honoka's residual foot odor while talking.
Carefully picking up the tiny naked girl, Umi placed the minuscule idol in her earlobe so she could hear her better. Umi and Kotori promptly left the overbearing odor-filled sock and began exiting the pile of clothes.
"Anyways, I'm glad you're okay, Honoka. I hope this teaches you a lesson about messing with such dangerous things like magic!" Umi continued.
"Y-yeah, I'm sorry girls... But hey! Why did my clothes not shrink with me but your clothes shrank with both of you!?" Honoka shouted into Umi's ear.
"Fufufu, well, let's just consider that payback and say we're even. I think we all had enough of this magic shrinking stuff today."
"I agree. I'm sooo tired, and hungry! Let's grow back and grab some food with the other girls! There's still so much American food I want to try!" Kotori cheerily chirped.
The trio exited the mountain of clothing and looked around the landscape that was their bed.
"Umm... so where's the wand?" asked Kotori.
"Oh it should be right over.... oh no..." Umi's jaw dropped as she gazed across the room at the desk on the opposite side of the room as the bed.
"H-how did it end up over there!? It's like that thing has a mind of its own!" Honoka cried.
"What are we gonna do... especially at our sizes now, it's impo--" Kotori was suddenly cut off as the sound of their hotel room's door was heard unlocking. The girls looked over to the entrance and froze.
"Honoka! Umi! Kotori! I'm back early, I forgot my stuff here..." the voice of a fellow μ's member called out.
