Look out, it's Kayla! My name is Jill Tiny chapter 9 by orphaned

Coming out into the hallway, Jill and Tyler saw the great havoc the earthquake had created.
Jill spotted a couple of students from the class in which she and Tyler had been placed in the morning, lying dead among the rest of the bodies. "Everyone is dead! Let's get out of here, Tyler."
"We don't know that", Tyler answered. "Someone might still be alive."
"But why do you even care? Did you forget how these people treated us? Let them all die and let's just get out of here, Tyler, please!"

Jill just wanted to go home - to her family, to her old school. She had been through enough - and she wanted it to end. But Tyler had to go and try to save lives... "They're not all like that, Jill, you know it. We just weren't lucky, we came in contact with the wrong people. We are small enough to make our way through the debris, normal sized people probably can't get in here. I can't just leave them for dead, but if you want, I won't hold it against you if you leave."

Jill looked at Tyler, and then looked back at a small hole in the broken wall behind her. She could just go - her parents must have already came for her and are waiting outside, worrying for her. She then looked back at Tyler. Again she looked back at the hole... and again, back at Tyler. "Awww, damn it!... Fine, I'll come with you, hero."

Tyler smiled. "Good!" He held her hand and lead the way, they went through the bodies, trying to find survivors. Everyone they found was dead. As they moved forward in the hallway, Jill shrieked to the sight of the school's Janitor skewered on his mop. "That poor idiot..." Tyler murmured, and Jill smiled slightly. They moved forward through the hallway, and reached the school's cafeteria. The whole placed was messed up, broken walls, pieces of desks smashing dead bodies, broken chairs everywhere.

Suddenly, a large shadow covered them. Jill and Tyler froze and slowly turned around. Two bare feet, leading up to tore up pants, above which there is the dirty remains of a shirt, barely covering the two breasts. And then came the face - Kayla!

They both screamed, and started to run, still holding each other's hands. "Wait!" Kayla shouted at them. "Arr, why did she of all people had to survive?!" Jill whined to Tyler as they ran under a broken piece of wall. Kayla's hand reaches underneath the broken wall to grab them, and they did their best to avoid her fingers. "Come out of there! Please!" They heard Kayla's voice. "I won't hurt you!"

Tyler grabbed Jill's hand and they quickly ran away from under the broken wall. Kayla saw them and tried again to catch them.
Then, in a smart move, Jill turned back, and ran toward Kayla and between her legs, grabbing Tyler with her.

--

Kayla turned around, but she didn't see Jill and Tyler anywhere.
"Come out, please!!!" Kayla shouted louder. She picked up every little piece of broken wreckage lying on the floor, trying to find them. "Look, I'm sorry about before! Please! Come out!" - Kayla had almost cried as she said that.

Kayla almost gave up, and then she heard something. It was a small voice. She stopped her breath and did her best to listen. She heard Jill and Tyler's voices, but couldn't hear what they were saying. She went in the direction of the voice, eventually reaching a dead body. It was a dead girl - she lied on her back, her neck was broken, and she was wearing a green skirt. Kayla bent down in front of her, and sat on the back of her own feet. The voices are really close now. She then reached her hand inside...

--

Tyler and Jill hoped Kayla wouldn't find them there. Standing hugged between the dead girl's legs under the green skirt, they both just did their best to remain silent. Jill couldn't stop herself from crying, and Tyler tried to comfort her.

It wasn't long before a giant hand came toward them. They both screamed as Kayla grabbed them and pulled them both away from between the dead girl's legs. They struggled in Kayla's hands until she sat them down on a desk, and closed her arms around them. It was the only desk left standing in the cafeteria. Kayla sat down. Jill and Tyler were trapped on the desk between Kayla's arms and her chest, covered by the dirty ripped shirt she was wearing.

"Please," Kayla started, looking down at the two naked teens. "Don't be scared. I won't hurt you."
Jill managed to speak, barely: "You.. won't, hurt us?! Only this morning you forced me to strip for you! You molested Tyler! You threatened to kill me if I wouldn't..." Jill shook her head as she reached that point, and just fell into Tyler's arms, whimpering.

Tyler looked up angrily at Kayla: "What do you want from us?!"

Kayla's face started to twitch, and to Jill and Tyler's astonishment, she suddenly burst in tears. She cried loudly, and tears poured on her face. She moved her arms in front of Jill and Tyler and wasn't blocking their way anymore. She then rested her face in her arms and sniffed her nose. Suddenly, Jill felt bad for her.

Not feeling threatened by the big girl anymore, Jill walked toward Kayla and rested her hand on Kayla's sleeveless arm. "Hey, it's Ok."
Kayla pulled her face back from between her arms and sniffed her nose. Jill reached to Kayla's face, wiping out a giant tear. Tyler loved Jill's kindness, and he reached to hold her hand again.

Kayla smiled at Jill and Tyler. "Thank you." she mouthed them.
She took a deep breath, sniffed her nose, and spoke again. "After the janitor separated us today, I got angry, so I tried to steal his keyring. He caught me, and he threw me into his closet and locked me in. He said that would teach me not to mess with him again. Two seconds later, everything was shaking. I heard screams of terror, and people crying. I knew something horrible happened." Kayla took another deep breath, and continued. "After about half an hour I finally got the courage to try to get out. I managed to kick open the closet door. And then I saw dead bodies everywhere." Tears again started to pour on her big face. "All my friends are dead. I tried to find someone who's still alive, but everyone I found was dead! All the exits are blocked and I was scared and alone." She paused. "And then I saw you two."

"I'm sorry for what I did to you in the morning," Kayla spoke, her voice more confident this time. "I owe you."

Tyler and Jill smiled at each other. It was nice to see Kayla isn't the monster they thought she is. "I found a small exit in one of the walls earlier," Tyler said, and looked at Kayla, "I think you might be able to squeeze through." Kayla smiled and reached an open palm to Jill and Tyler, and they climbed it.

The three friends then made their way to Tyler's hole, with Kayla walking carefully through the debris, and Jill and Tyler sitting safely in her palm.

"Stop, it's here." Said Tyler, and pointed at a hole in the wall, hidden behind a broken sink. Kayla let Jill and Tyler to the floor, and moved the sink away. She crawled out, and Jill and Tyler came after her and have let her to pick them up again.

Sitting on Kayla's palm outside the wrecked school, Jill and Tyler looked out to the big city, and couldn't believe what they saw...
