Sappy Reunion Part 2 My name is Jill Tiny chapter 21 by copier · original author: rainman1131

Cindy blinked. "Really?"

Nathan nodded, grinning.

Just then, they all heard Mrs. Jensen's footsteps coming back down the stairs. When she entered the room, they all heard a tiny voice saying, "Put me down, Elaine! I don't have time for this!"

Ignoring her tiny husband's protests, Mrs. Jensen knelt down and set him at the feet of his children. Jill was amused to see that the little man only stood about an inch tall, and had a head of wavy, red hair. He wore jeans and a button-up, long-sleeved shirt. On his tiny feet were a little pair of white tennis shoes. Jill thought he was just about the cutest thing she had ever seen.

As the little man looked at the knees of his daughter and son, he felt hands grip him under the arms and lift him upward.

"Hi, Daddy!" Sally squealed, hugging the tiny man into her chest. Unable to speak while he lay crushed against his daughter's breasts, Mr. Jensen settled for reaching his arms as far as he could reach around his daughter, hugging her as best he could. Nathan moved around in front of his sister, enclosing her in his arms, effectively pinning their father between them.

Mrs. Jensen and the girls watched as the embrace went on for several moments. Then, reluctantly, it seemed, the children knelt down, setting their father back onto the table.

"Oh, kids, I..." He paused. "What's with the togas?"

Everybody else in the room burst into spontaneous laughter once again, and Mr. Jensen waited it out, a slightly confused smile on his face. When the hilarity subsided, he turned toward the couch, opening his mouth to speak.

Then he raised his hands in a warding off gesture, a terrified expression on his little face. He fell down flat on the table.

Cindy, who had been peering closely at Mr. Jensen from just a few inches away, suddenly recoiled back, blushing furiously. "Oh! I'm so sorry, Mr. Jensen! I didn't mean to scare you! Please forgive me!"

The tiny man smiled weakly, getting slowly back to his feet. "It's okay, young lady. No harm done. What's your name?"

"I'm Cindy, sir. And this," she gestured at Jill. "This is my friend Jill."

Mr. Jensen looked up at the pretty blond girl standing next to Jackie. "Nice to meet you both."

Jill grinned down at the tiny man. "Hi, Mr. Jensen."

"Okay, kids," said Mr Jensen, sounding more serious. "What happened?"

They took turns, each of them telling a part of the story, putting his or her own particular spin on the events. They had agreed to tell Sally and Nathan's parents the whole, unvarnished truth.

When they were finished, neither adult said anything for a moment. Then Mrs. Jensen leaned forward, taking Jackie in one hand and Jill in the other. She held them tightly to her chest, then brought them each up for a soft kiss. Setting them back down on the table, she went around to where Cindy sat on the couch, and gave her a hug, and kissed her on the cheek. She went back around the table and sat cross-legged on the carpet, beaming at all three girls.

"Thank you, girls, so much. I can never begin to repay you for this."

Jackie waved a hand up to Mrs. Jensen. "Don't worry about it, Mrs. J. We were glad to do do it, right guys?"

Cindy and Jill nodded, smiling. "Sure," said Jill.

"No problem," replied Cindy.

Mr. Jensen stepped near Jackie's feet, raising his arms. Jackie scooped up the little man in one hand, bringing him to her face. Mr. Jensen leaned forward and kissed Jackie's cheek. He gestured for Jill to lean over to him, and he planted a kiss on her check as well. Jill thought it was the softest, sweetest thing she had ever felt.

Jackie set Mr. Jensen back down. The tiny man then took a few steps toward Cindy, beckoning her to lean down. Smiling shyly, Cindy moved her face carefully down near the surface of the table. She barely felt the little peck Mr. Jensen placed on her chin.

"Now then," Mr. Jensen said, rubbing his chin slowly. "How to handle this government conspiracy stuff."
