Jill's plan had no part two.
She had hoped the laser would have a little longer range, perhaps allowing them to kill or disable the giant Lisa, but apparently the tool was only meant for close work. The female alien could easily stay out of range. Jill knew the threat of the laser would keep Lisa back enough so she wouldn't try to grab her and her friends, but they certainly wouldn't be able to keep her at bay with it while they tried to climb down from the table. It was a stalemate.
Lisa leaned against a counter opposite from the table, her arms folded across her ample chest, and a smirk on her face. "That wasn't such a good idea, little ones. Wait til Security gets here. They'll take care of you. And you..." the giantess said, pointing at Jill. "I'm going to take special pleasure in taking back that tool, and gutting you with it."
Jill said nothing, staring daggers up at the female alien.
A few minutes later, a door retracted silently into the wall, and two people walked in. The first was a young man dressed in white, who rolled a gurney beside him. He quickly moved to the wounded man, who still writhed in pain on the floor. While the med-tech attended to his patient, the other new person, a pretty blond in her mid-twenties, dressed in a black skirt, matching top, and dark sunglasses, entered the room.
The blond looked at Lisa, then nodded over to the table top. "That all of them, just those four on the table?"
Lisa nodded, stepping forward. "Yes, that's all of them, Agent. Be careful. They've got a dissecting laser."
The agent looked down at the four teens, narrowing her eyes. "Uh-huh. How'd they get that, then? Overpower you, did they?"
Jill laughed.
"No," said Lisa, turning red, and glaring down at Jill. "They grabbed it while we were...uh... while our attention was elsewhere."
"Yeah," said April, pointing the barrel of the laser at the two giants. "We took it after you had killed our friend, then started torturing our other friends."
Lisa looked at the agent, then hooked a thumb at the little teens. "Get a load of them. Lab rats complaining about their treatment."
The female agent ignored the scientist, instead turning to the med-tech. "You about through with him?"
The young man had bandaged Roger's arm, and had now strapped the moaning alien onto the gurney. "Yeah. Just heading out now, Agent."
"I'll check in on you later, Roger," called Lisa, as the gurney was whisked out the door.
When the door had whispered shut, Lisa turned to the agent. "So what are you going to use on them? Don't you need a net or a cage or something?"
The blond grinned, reaching into a pocket in her top and pulling out a shiny metal object about the size and shape of a hockey puck. "Nope. This'll do."
Then the pretty woman pointed the puck at Lisa, and depressed a button on it's top. A thick cone of crimson light shot out, enveloping the female alien. Lisa's eyes grew wide in shock, then her mouth opened to articulate a scream.
But she never got the chance.
Jill saw, through the bright reddish glow of the beam, Lisa's features begin to change, to distort. It seemed as though she was beginning to melt, her fake human features dripping down like so much wax from a guttering candle. Jill caught a momentarily glimpse of greenish, mottled skin, of claws and tentacles, then just a dripping, viscid mass...then...nothing.
Lisa simply vanished
The woman agent flicked off her weapon, then turned back to the teens on the table top.
All four were at a loss for words, their mouths comically agape.
Finally, Jill managed to speak. "Who...who the Hell are you?"
The pretty blond woman grinned as she walked over and stood in front of the table. "My name's Cindy. Nice to see you, Jill."
