As Jill was sleeping atop the dresser, she was awoken by a female voice. Much to her confusion, it wasn't the voice of one of the other three tinies that she heard. It sounded like the voice of an 18 year old girl.
"Joe! Wake up! You're gonna be late for school if you sleep in any longer!"
Joe picked up Megan and rolled out of bed.
"Okay sis, sheesh... I'm up already!"
Jill looked over to Gabbie with a confused expression.
"Joe has a sister?"
"Yeah. Her name is May, and she already graduated high school. She's really nice, and always watches us whenever Joe has to go to school. Personally, I have a hard time deciding who I like more!"
"So does that mean that we're spending the day with her now?"
"Yep. Don't worry, she's just as caring as her little brother is."
"Well... That's a relief..."
Just then, Joe and May walked over to the dresser and looked down at the two tiny girls. May smiled as she examined Jill.
"Hey bro, who's this one? I don't think that I've met her before."
Jill stepped forward and waved hello to May.
"Hello, my name is Jill. I'm new here."
"Well, it's nice to meet you Jill. My name is May. I'll be looking after you and the others while Joe's at school."
"Yeah, I know. Gabbie already told me about you just now. It's nice to meet you too, May."
May simply smiled and then noticed that, counting Megan in Joe's hand and Gabbie standing next to Jill on the dresser, there was still one girl missing.
"Hey Joe, where's Kay?"
"She knocked Jill into my dresser drawer, so she's getting punished by having to sleep alone on top of the book shelf."
"Again?! How many times is that, 12? When is that girl going to learn to quit pushing the others off the dresser!?"
Jill looked confused.
"Does this happen often?"
"Yeah Jill... You could say that Kay is the rebellious type. She does this sort of thing all the time, and I'm amazed that Joe hasn't given her a punishment more serious than just sleeping on a different shelf yet."
"Wow... So why does she do that?"
"I have no idea. Something tells me that it's just for attention, but maybe she's actually in love with Joe. Now that I think about it, she did shove Megan off more often than Gabbie before you showed up... Maybe she's just jealous..."
"Um, sis... I'm sorry to interrupt your girl talk, but can you please take Jill and the others into your room so that I can get ready for school?"
"Oops... Sorry bro, I forgot about that... Alright, hand me Megan so that we can go. I'll get Kay myself.
"Alright."
Joe then handed Megan over to his sister, who proceeded to place her onto the floor beside her. Next, she picked up Gabbie and Jill to set them down next to Megan. Lastly, she walked over to the bookshelf and roused the still-sleeping Kay before picking her up and taking her over to the rest of the girls. She then smiled at the four tiny girls and motioned for them to follow her. They did just that as May lead them out of Joe's room and into the hallway. She then walked across the hall to her own room, and opened the door for the other girls to enter. She then smiled down at Jill again.
"Well Jill, since your new here, I'll explain a few things. This is my room. Joe doesn't usually want me to let you guys run around the house while he's gone, but I don't see why I should keep you in here all day. Once Joe leaves for school, I'll open my door and you can explore the house as much as you want. Just don't try to get into our parents' room. The door will always be shut, so you probably shouldn't be able to, but it's off limits either way. They made that pretty clear when Joe first brought home Megan. Other than that, just feel free to have fun, and be sure that you're back in here before Joe gets back. I don't want him to know that I'm giving you guys free reign of the house while he's gone."
Jill smiled at May and nodded.
"Alright May, I think I've got it. Thanks for taking care of me."
"Oh, it's no trouble at all Jill! I really do enjoy hanging out with you and the other tinies. I hope that we can become good friends!"
"Likewise, May!"
Jill then entered May's room and stood next to the other three girls. May left the room for a few minutes and, when she returned, she flashed them a thumbs up and opened her door again.
"Okay girls, the coast is clear! Now go have some fun!"
What will Jill decide to do now?
