Microscopic Survival
chapter 5

Even just a few minutes of Brenda's full weight pressing down on your microscopic body was enough to push you to your limits, struggling to hold onto consciousness. So you immediately noticed when said weight was easing up, meaning that Brenda was about to stand up again. Unfortunately, you didn't have the luxury of recovering from being crushed by a literal mountain of woman, because you knew that Brenda was about to move hundreds of kilometers away from you once more. If you wanted to stick with her, this was your chance.
Desperate to not be left behind, you grabbed onto the nanoscopic imperfections of one the cotton fibers making up Brenda's shorts. A single one of them was as wide as an apartment building was high, and Brenda's shorts were made out of thousands of them, probably more. You obviously knew you were small, the world wouldn't allow you to forget, but in this moment you really felt the sheer difference between you and the rest of humanity.
"Doesn't seem like they'll be here anytime soon," Brenda's thunderous voice echoed from above, reminding you that right now was not the time to get lost in thought. As she rose back to her full height, you managed to pull yourself up the thread, leaving you in a relatively secure position. You were just in time too, as Brenda immediately made her way out of your bedroom. The tangle of immense threads swayed along the movement of her body, but fortunately, you seemed to be secure in your spot as long as you could hold on. In the distance, from deeper within the darkness of Brenda's shorts and what lied beyond, you could hear the sound of Brenda's butt cheeks grinding past one another with each step, the kind of sound you imagined tectonic plates made whenever they collided.
It was surreal, and the shorts of your landlord were not at all where you thought this day was going to take you. Yet, it was probably also better than anything you could have hoped for. You were still far off from being found and rescued, but with some more luck, you might just have a chance.
Though for now, all you could do was hang on and be along for the ride to wherever Brenda was going.
Brenda...
