Edna watched in amazement as her mother rapidly shrank in size . The eager Laura continued to return to her former size and shape ,stopping at a height of 6'6" a little bit taller than her former self. "I always wanted to be taller!" Giggled Laura. Let's go home Edna ,it's time to leave as more people started to approach the two . Investigating where the massive woman went to and try to figure out what was happening.
The mother and daughter quickly retreated into their car and made there way from the parking lot before the authorities arrived and the questions started. Edna stared at her mother as she drove through the streets . Still reeling from all that has transpired in the last 20 minutes or so,edna continued to watching her mother and all the people that where standing on their front lawns and even the streets itself. Laura swerved around people and made way home cautiously not raise any cause for alarm. The time passed what seem like forever but minutes later they arrived at their home. Parking the car in the garage. The door closed behind them.
The quiet retreat was short lived as Laura turn to Edna and said," I want you to show me where the rest of the power cores are ,dear!" Edna snapped out of her dazed like state and without a thought . Within that moment Edna jumped out of the car and tried her best to make it inside the house before Laura had a chance to. Edna opened the door and ran through the house till she reached the basement, nearly falling down the stairs, Edna made her way to the crude workbench and pulling boxes till she stood up with the one she was looking for. Thoughts ran through her mind of what to do . In that moment a hand grabbed her shoulder and spun her around., there in the dim light stood her mother. "I'll take that Edna. Thank you for giving them to me. Edna stepped back,knocking the bench . Without a word Laura started to grow again ,till she had to hunch over as her head touched the floor above. Laura towered over Edna as she continued to grow. Laura's left hand quickly grew to a distorted size and grabbed Edna around her whole mid section. Lifting her off the ground. "You shouldn't make mommy unhappy, dear" . Edna frozen in fear ,didn't make a sound as Laura reached out with her shrunken right hand and easily pulled the box away from Edna.
Laura started to shrink back to her normal self as if she had been able to do this whole life effortlessly. Dropping Edna to the floor.
Opening the box , the glow filled the room . Laura's smile replaced the grimace she once had. Unsure of how many laid in the box, Laura looked intentionally at their shimmering brilliance. Edna still sitting on the floor, feeling sick to stomach watched her mother. Then without a warning or words said . Laura's head started to expand rapidly and in one rapid motion Laura dumped the whole box into oversized mouth and with a grimace and a large grunt, gulping down the prize she was seeking. The bulge distorted her throat as the cores worked their way down . Laura had closed her eyes and had clinched her fists forcing them down .Edna watched in horror as her mother distorted and disfigured as some mutated monster, stood in front of her. Her head still many times larger than normal. Laura stepped back and lifted her head ,Opening her eyes to reveal a unexpected green glow . With a cough and huge belch , Laura stood still for a moment.
Seconds passed and everything seem to stay the same, until a unexpected fart was released with a loud grumbling started deep within Laura. Then is when ,every thing changed.
Laura's eyes widen as she started to shake and vibrate . The green glow started to luminate her whole body. Her oversized head started to shrink to normal but continued to shrink even more ,her body began to inflate like a balloon. Edna realized that her mother had no control over her body. With that she scrambled to her feet and made her way to the stairs. Leaving her behind.
