Edna was livid. Not only had she been tricked by her former best friend, but that MMA psycho Trish managed to enlarge herself and steal her size-gun.
This wouldn't do. This wouldn't do at all...
The geek girl felt her blood pressure rising and her anger intensifying. Those two... were dead meat. To hell with not knowing how to fight! No hell with being scared! She tired of being stepped on!
"Screw... YOU!" she shouted.
Ruth was taken aback by the sudden burst of anger and even Trish was caught slightly off guard. The look in the geek's eyes, pure mania. She was completely unglued.
"If your new gal pal wants a fight, then bring it on!"
Ruth looked at her former bestie as if she'd lost her mind. Edna couldn't fight. She didn't even know how to fight. She lost a fight to a kid two grades below her. Heather recorded it for the school to watch.
Trish snapped out of her shock and smiled toothily at the enraged nerd. "Hear that Ruthie? This cow actually wants to fight."
"Trish don't." Ruth tried to reason.
"Sorry, but your friend over there made it pretty clear that she's not backing down." Trish smiled. "I can respect that. That just means this is all gonna end the fun way."
Ruth looked up to Trish and back to her livid friend. There was no way she was going to listen to reason. "Fine." Ruth sighed. "Just make it quick."
"No promises." Trish teased.
