“Say, uh, mind if I talk to you privately?” Edna asked her bestie.
“Oh! Umm s-sure.” Ruth said with unease.
And so, Ruth followed Edna to the girl’s bathroom where there’s hardly anyone in here. That’s when Edna turns to Ruth and looks at her dead in the eyes.
“Listen, Ruth, I know that you’re lying to me. I can tell by how you were stuttering before.” Edna said in a serious.
“Lie? Why would I do that?” Ruth asked scared that she may have been caught.
“No more lies, Ruth. Fess up. I want the truth now.” Edna demanded.
With no other option, Ruth sighs and goes to tell her best friend the whole truth.
“Okay. The truth is, I’m beginning to feel afraid of you. Ever since what you did to Heather and her posse, you’ve been unlike yourself. Now, after hearing about what you did to Trish and Aoi, I’m starting to believe that you’re letting this revenge thing go too far.” Ruth said.
“Well, I don’t, Ruthie. For the first time ever, I feel like I’m on top of the world. With this bad boy, I’m like a goddess. No one would mock me anymore.” Edna said patting on her pocket that has the ray gun.
“And making you look really bad. If you keep doing this, you’ll only make things worst for you. Just give me the ray gun before you do something you’ll regret forever.” Ruth pleaded.
Edna feels like Ruth wants to stop her from getting her revenge. She would get her for standing in her way, but this is her best friend. She was the only one here that cares about her so much. Guess she just wants to help her.
