When the Anthros Came to Town

Everything suddenly became quite as a vast shadow, miles long, stretched across the protest. In fact, multiple shadows, bathing the entire human area of Coalton Shores in the darkness of the giant anthros towering over it. You, along with the rest of the tiny humans down below, looked up to see a group of maybe around five to six anthros looking down at you all, their collection of toes and paws and claws towering over the puny buildings as gigantic walls that went beyond the clouds.
One anthro knelt down as slow as she possibly could, knowing that any sudden movement from her could destroy this portion of the town. She was an eagle anthro, and she seemed nice enough despite her piercing eyes and shark beak. She kept lowering herself until her massive, miles-spanning face was directly above, her expression gentle yet firm."Humans,"She greeted the majority of the group."Mayor Bloomberg,"She turned to him next, his cowering form shivering as her eyes fell upon him.
"I know there are many reasons you have gathered here today. But I assure, we are no threat to you humans. I am Hilda, one of the locals that live in the neighborhood across town. Notice the word 'local'-I've lived here and grown up in Coalton Shores along with the rest of you. Heck, I even went to school with some of your kids."She giggled slightly, still not alleviating the fears of the bigoted below. You did recall that her face was familiar, as were the other anthros around. There was a multi-special school just out of the way of town, and you had attended it growing up in your earlier years before your parents moved you into a human school once you got into high school. Hilda was one of your classmates way back when.
"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better about us?"Hilda pleaded.
"Get off our fuckin' planet!"One brave anon from within the crowd yelled up at her, only for the rest to follow with raised fists and a "Yeah!"
Hilda only rolled her eyes, followed by a small sigh that threatened to blow everyone away."We come in peace, humans, to protest your...protest against us."
