You hold your stub of an arm in pure pain and then look up in fear as those monsters finally decide what to do with you to test how durable you really are. Sapphira opens her mouth wide and inhales deeply and you realize that only meant one thing. Dragon breath.
"No!" you yell. "Don't!" Ruby steps out of the way right before Sapphira unleashes a torrent of flames that strikes you and makes you scream in pain. Your body is being so burned that you feel like you're gonna be charred any minute. Sapphira just had to be a dragon of all creatures. Her fire breath was her main weapon to deal with humans and many human cities were reduced to ash by those flames and the flames were so severe that your house even began to catch a spark.
But your house was getting off easy, you were being bombarded with a steady stream of dragon breath and you felt pieces of your skin begin to chip away. This was a nightmare and Ruby chanting "Burn! Burn! Burn!" sure didn't help that matter. If nothing was done, you would die, if you were lucky. But Sapphira just keep blowing out flames as you continue to scream.
When will this nightmare be over?
