As you're trying to run off, you hear a loud explosion right behind you. "Oh crap." You say as you look back. You see the high school in ruins. The bomb went off too soon. Perhaps you didn't set the timer as good as you had hoped. You decide to hide behind a tree as the police show up.
Mayor Bloomberg of course is furious because he knew that the only possible reason for what happened was a terrorist attack. "Blasted beasts! I'll bet those oxygen wasting anthros did this! They're out to exterminate us, I just know it!" "I don't think it was an anthro," said a police officer examining the wreckage. "If it was there'd be evidence. Footprints for one." "And an anthro wouldn't need a bomb to destroy the school," said another cop. "More likely it was a human." "An anthro sympathizer!" yells the mayor. "When I get my hands on him, he'll be behind bars for life for this treason!
This was very bad. That Sapphira was going to get you thrown in jail. Even if you get away from the police, you'd have one very angry flesh-eating giant dragon on your hands. You have to get home fast.
