The crimson dragoness smiles as she notices you. "Oh! Hello there! Nice to meet you!" as she kneels down to get a better look, her large rack sliding towards you as she goes. "Name's Lucy!" she beamed as she carefully extended a talon for you to shake. Nervously you take it, and welcomed her to the neighborhood.
"Name's Allan." you reply, blushing.
"What? Never seen a dragon before sweetie?" inquired Lucy as she gently picked you up into her hand. It was alot softer than you would've given her. Cautiously, you tell her what you've heard about her kind. Now it was her turn to blush, looking a bit embarrassed.
"It's because of people like that psycho bitch Sapphira isn't it?" she asked, clearly this was a sore spot. Sheepishly you nod in reply. Sighing, Lucy smiled to you.
"Fair enough. But I think you humans have quite the appropriate saying for that." as she brought you close to her face, making you realize the dragon smelled quite nice on top of being beautiful. "Never judge a book by it's cover." as she gently nuzzles into you before placing you on the ground again.
"Thanks for the welcome though little one. Hope you won't be afraid to visit sometime in the near future." sighed Lucy as she turned to go back inside her house.
Nervous now, and a bit sorry for such a weird first impression, you...
