Micro-Micro-Sized. When the Anthros Came to Town chapter 9 by copier · original author: writeanon

Living with Anthros has always been an adjustment for humanity. A difficult one, considering the scale difference. But thanks to a combination of human and anthro technologies and science, there isn't an Anthro alive who's eyesight isn't keen enough to see a human, even with their 10,000 mile height difference. Unfortunately as good as Anthros are at spotting humans, it should go without saying that humans tend to go unnoticed, as anyone might expect. If an Anthro isn't close to you and you're not in a crowd, you might as well not exist.

Which is why it's pretty unfortunate you that you're now so terribly, terribly small in comparison to the rest of the world.

"Oh my god." is all you can say, gazing out across the tabletop towards the massive ray gun that did this to you. Remember the apple? It shrank from the size of atleast a hundred miles tall down to what you would consider to be a regular apple. And that size ratio was never reset, so now you're... well, it's difficult to tell how small exactly. But you're pretty sure you're somewhere underneath an inch tall. A regular human would look gigantic to you, and the rest of her home was unfathomably huge now.

It would be okay, though. Meena would come back and fix you if you just stood right where you were.

Suddenly, the ground began to shake, or more accurately violently quake as loud, booming steps could be heard throughout the house. Meena was coming! From your position on the edge of her table, you saw her the moment she turned around the corner, and your face paled.

She was...words couldn't describe her size. Your mind already had made room for 10,000 mile high beings, but this was just too much.

"Alan?" the bat girl asked quizzically, scanning up and down the table for your miniscule form. You screamed and yelled, waving your arms as you jumped up and down to get her attention. She slowly approached the table, her petite form suddenly taking up your entire field of vision as her stomach touched the edge of the table, the fibers of her ant-man t-shirt coming dangerously close to hitting you, and big enough for you to grab.

"A-Alan, where'd you go? Are you hiding?" she asked, your frantic waving and yelling falling on deaf ears. Suddenly, and without warning, she dropped down to her knees in order to search for you underneath the table. A hurricane of wind assaulted you in the process, and you found yourself flying hundreds of feet across the table, as if you were launched out of a cannon. You stumbled and tumbled through the air until you suddenly slam into something huge and metal. Disoriented, you tried to find purchase on the smooth surface, clinging to a large groove for dear life as you looked around.

"Where'd Alan run off to...?" Meena muttered to herself, her whispering voice magnified by your unusually small size. "I-if he left in such a hurry, something important must have come up...he's never bailed on me before." she declares, standing up straight with a sigh. "I hope he didn't touch the gun...if he shrank down, there's no way I'd find him!" she says, although she says it like the idea isn't even a possibility.

Then she looks straight at you, and reaches out for you.

It takes you a moment to even decipher the movements of the monolith, but suddenly you realize that she's not reaching for you, she's reaching for the gun...which you just happen to be holding onto the barrel of. As her hand wraps around the base of the gun, you're forced to hold on tight as the continent-sized raygun is violently turned upside down as she examines it closely, looking for any signs of tampering. After recovering from the violent movements, you turn your head to the right to find the bat-girls awe inspiring iris looking at the gun...and straight at you!

"Meena!" you yell, letting go of the gap in the metal in order to wave your arms. "I'm right here! Meena!"

Meena's giant eyeball blinks, and narrows for a moment...
