Meena's mother is alone. You take a breath as Meena opens the door. You really hope you can pull this off. The last thing you need is an angry mother on your back, let alone one a mile tall. She steps in and gives her daughter a hug. "Meena! Good to see my little fruit cup!" You smile up at Meena when you hear this.
"Mom!" Meena protests. "Don't call me that! I'm not a kid anymore!" Her mother just brushes this off. "Oh relax. Its not like there's anyone else here. There's never anyone else here." she says, emphasizing the last part. Meena clears her throat. "Well actually mom, my boyfriend is here." she tells her mother. The older batwoman looks shocked. "Really? You finally found someone? Where is he?" she asks eagerly.
"He's right in front of you." Meena says as she raises her hand with you on it to her mothers face. You look up at her and her eyes focus on you. "Um, hi. My name is Alan." you say nervously. Meena's mom looks from you to her daughter. "A human?" she inquires. "Yes , what's wrong with that?" Meena asks a little defensively. "Nothing, actually. I'm just happy you finally found someone to settle down with!" she answers happily. "Hello Alan, I'm Meena's mother, Martha." she says to you politely. Meena looks relieved that the plan is working, and happy as well. Her mother starts talking again. "Well I think we'll have plenty of time to get to know eachother because..."
