Try as Molly could do, she eventually grew a headache and had to stop.
She stared at the blue world in disappointment; because she failed to create life.
"Aww man... so I can shape any world I want, even create another Earth but I can't bring any creatures on it?"
Molly sighed.
It was a huge letdown that she can't essentially play god for a little bit. But she disappointedly figured that her powers has some boundaries that she can't go over no matter how much she tried.
Still, a tiny bit of curiosity filled her mind as she focused her vision into the ocean.
Biology was not Molly's strong suit but she vaguely recalled learning about how life on Earth might've started in its far distant past when water first covered the planet.
And after some more zooming into the deep ocean, Molly gasped when she checked on one of the thermal vents. She sensed something tiny swimming around it!
A microbe! An actual microbe has emerged in the ocean!
But Molly quickly became a bit confused, "Wait a minute? If I can't somehow create life, then how did this thing appear in the ocean?"
Was there some loophole in her powers? That she could create planets that can sustain life, but all it did was jumpstart it?
If so, Molly knew that it will be millions- no, hundreds of millions of years for more complex life to eventually appear.
"I can't wait that long! Even if I don't need to eat anymore what am I supposed to do until then?!"
Sighing again, Molly groaned at the thought and just gave up. There is no way she was going to wait until life really starts to emerge into more variety of animals, let alone intelligent beings.
And yet, as Molly stared down at the planet, she can't help but feel a little happy about what she had accomplished. It may take time, but she did create life in some way. Just not in the way Molly wanted and allow life to find a way on its own.
