You carefully put the reins on the mouse and then you climb up the mouse, using the fur as handholds and you make it up to the top of the mouse's head where you put the saddle on and attach it to the reins. After setting it all up, you plop down into the saddle, taking the reins and shake them with a "Gidiup!"....and the mouse does absolutely nothing.
You try again this time though with a "Hi ho silver, away!" Again the mouse does nothing. You sigh, this is going to be harder than you thought. You've got to train this mouse....
Several hours later....
"Go!" you yell, shaking the reins. The mouse obeys and charges across the room, you pull on the right rein and the mouse goes right, you pull on the left rein and the mouse goes left. You yank on both reins simultaneously and the mouse comes to a halt. You grin, "Cool."
You now have your very own tamed mouse to use and care for, like a building sized horse. You have no idea whether your mom will let you even keep it though. Maybe you could just keep it a secret, but maybe you should inform her when you get a chance. The choice is yours to make...later when your mom comes around to you. What are you going to do now?
