You see the monolithic but familiar mass that is Melly's shoe looming above you. The white mass descends, spreading the gum outward and trapping you yet again. You are subjected to a queasy hour as Melly runs around the front yard, before she kicks her shoes off on the front porch and heads inside. You leap-well, struggle-for joy, as you are now much closer to your destination.
