This is going to take a few days, and in that time your family will be coming in and out. If you're on the driveway or in the garage, you'll surely be crushed by a car. Plus, you'll get some shade from the burning sun. You just hope that you're too small for any insects to bother you. You take a deep breath, and jog towards the seemingly endless jungle.
The journey is a nightmare. All about you are the noises of, well, nature and the neighborhood. However, all those sounds are amplified: birds chirping become the terrifying calls of enormous predators; monstrous squirrels bound about, creating earthquakes as they explore; even ants are now a threat, as they trample through the underbrush. The distant rumble of a lawnmower or sprinkler sends a shiver down your spine, as you don't know when those might go off in your yard. A couple times, the monolithic steps of a human rumble past: some from the sidewalk far off, and a few from your family as they come in and out. It's only a matter of time before something goes wrong.
