Waking up you remembered it was Christmas, Any other person would've jumped for joy but not you, at your size Christmas sucked every year; last year you actually got a piece of thread that was bigger than you from December, she placed it by your cotton swab bed.
Naturally you pretended to love it but to this day you havent touched the black thread at all, it smelled and you were fairly certain that December just pulled it out of a sock. Mom tried she really did, but it was extremely hard eventually she formed the plan that became tradition. Instead of a gift she would give you a whole inch of your favorite food as well as no chores for two weeks, a bribe so to speak.
Long story short Christmas wasn't anything special you just had to wait until Mom showed up and brought you to the presents to experience "Family memories"
