While you might have survived your surprise field trip by technicality, you're not so sure how much of you actually made it the whole way through, and this includes your ability to converse. You open your mouth and immediately you're met with pain and resistance. Your insides beg you to cease all movement and go limp as your vocal cords struggle to make the smallest of sounds. Still, you just might be able to say something if you try hard enough, and if you can manage, you better be sure to make your few words count.
