You awaken, finding yourself on a bed. The sheets are unfamiliar, though, not being any pattern you've ever seen. They have Hello Kitty on them, rather odd. You pull yourself up and look before you and see Katie, a nerdy girl a year younger than you with long blonde hair, but really dorky glasses and attire. You hear a giggle from behind and turn around. On the turn you see Brook, again. When you've made it around a half-turn, you see Rachel, a shorter, wider girl your age. Finally you turn and see Amanda, a Hispanic girl with shorter brown hair, held back a year early on, but who's fallen into a nerdier group of friends as of late.
You look up from the giggling girl, Rachel. You'd ask what's going on, but you fear it's not something you'd want to know, anyway. Brook confirms you're fear, "Well, looks what we have here! Toy, and that is what you are to us, you will be our little, say, experiment for day. She nods her head to the others and the bed rumbles, knocking you down. When you stand back up, all of them have their socked feet pointed at you. She explains, "Look closely at each of our sock patterns," you wince as each is wearing two different socks, "as in a minute we will put you in one in the dark and then put them back on. You'll then be in the light and have to guess which one you're in."
You yell, "Why? What is this for??" Maybe an appeal to humanity could work here.
Amanda answers from behind you, "To see what activity we do next."
Kaite says, "And trust me: you want to be right."
The lights go out before you have a good chance to check out all of their socks. You're thrown around unceremoniously for a minute and then see a faint light and smell a nerdy girl's foot all around you. You hear, "All right, guess which one you're in!" The voice came from Brook, and it wasn't from the same direction as the foot on your face. The light doesn't really give you much detail on the sock, so you take a shot and guess Katie.
