“Moooooom!” the two called up to their parent, happy to see she was back to her usual kind, yet zany, self.
“Oh, my darling little angels!” Miss Spiral cooed as her annoyance at the local media was quickly replaced with the love she had for the most precious things on the planet to her. “Notice anything different about me, kids?” she giggled, teasing the two smaller beings as her godlike laughter resounded through the town.
“Um...You got even bigger?” Lily answered cautiously.
“Yep, you sure got it! That’s my little honor student!” the gargantuan mother smiled down proudly.
“You look refreshed too, Mom,” Michael answered.
“And also correct! You two are such smart little guys! I’m so lucky to have such wonderful children!” Miss Spiral smiled warmly, glad to be with her family once again. “I had the nicest little massage today, so I feel absolutely great. And can you believe I got it for free? What an amazing deal!”
“Yeah, I can believe it...” Lily sighed. “So Mom, how much did you grow this time?”
“Oh, just another little one like yesterday. I’m still getting bigger all the time!”
“Did...Did she just say 1000 miles was little?!” Michael said, in awe of how his mother thought of her recent size upgrades.
“Told you she would.”
“Anyways, hop on kids, I need to talk to you two for a moment about something important...or if you like staring at my pampered toes, I can just talk to you from here,” she said optimistically as she gently tapped her toes against the ground, causing the entire town to shake.
“I think we’d be safer on your finger, Mom...”Michael said cautiously.
“Sure thing, kiddos!”She grinned, reaching down with an extended forefinger, her two favorite minute people climbing onto it. Bringing her finger gently up, she began.”Now kids, did any government men come by today?”
“No, not at all. Just the usual paparazzi trying to get us to answer questions about you.”Lily replied, sitting herself down on one of the fingerprint lines thick enough to hold a city upon.
“Don’t forget the pervs,”Michael added, sitting down beside his sibling.”You have no idea how of those guys come around asking if we can get ‘em a talk with you.”
“So...no government men? No scientists? Nobody?”
They both shrugged.”Sorry mom...”

Meanwhile
“Gentlemen,”
A large warehouse with over a hundred people gathered within lighted up to reveal a stage, and upon that stage, Dr. Connors, the Leader, and the Nervous Man all three stood.”We welcome you to this week’s Anti-Spiraler meeting!”
“She’s Spiraling Out of Control! Eventually, we’ll all be sucked in!”The building rang with their greeting and mantra.
“Everyone, this is Dr. Connors,”The Leader pointed at the frail man in a stark white labcoat.
“He’s been working with the Big Bitch ever since she started growing, way back from the beginning, and as you know,”
“I’ve been a secret member of your little club as well.”Dr. Connors stepped forward, cutting the leader off.”I can speak for myself, thank you.”He adjust the collar of his coat before continuing.”Now, I bet you’re all wondering why I’m here today. It’s very simple. Over the past decade or so, I’ve been gathering data and samples of Miss Spiral, she and our silly government think it’s to keep track of her health. Not so, in fact, I’ve actually found the means of her growth. A very random, and very volatile super-mutagen, a one in a trillion chance of ever occurring within the human gene pool. Unfortunately, it happened with her. But, I do have a solution,”He reached into a pocket and pulled out a small vial with an odd, glowing liquid inside.”This fluorescent little concoction is the cure to all of our problems!”
“What...what’ll do?”The Nervous Man questioned slowly.
“Rapid cellular degeneration, my good man!”
“.....What?”
“It will make her smaller.”
“How much we talking ‘bout here, Doc?”The Leader looked at the vial quzzically.
“I’m very sure that it will indeed reduce her back down the size of a normal human being...with a few side effects like paranoid mental stability, blindness, and possibly cancer. But it’ll work, I guarantee it!”
“That’s great! All we gotta do is inject her with the stuff-”
“Not very likely.”
“What do ya mean?”
Dr. Connors pulled a very bland expression in reply, raising one eyebrow.”The woman can shrug off a nuclear missile, sir. I doubt a simple human-sized needle would puncture her skin.”
“Then how do we get it in her?!”
“Very simple: One man will have to approach her while she rests and deposit it into her mouth. From there,”He held out his arms.”We are victorious!”
“I’ll volunteer for it,” the leader said. “I want the satisfaction of bringing the Big Bitch down myself.”
“Then so be it! Tomorrow, she shall be bigger no more! Meeting adjourned!”

“Well then, I’ll be off for the night! Sleep well kids!” Miss Spiral bid farewell to her children as she headed back towards the Atlantic Ocean to rest.
“Night Mom!” the two shouted as they watched their titanic mother walk off into the distance.
As she lay down in the now smaller ocean, she began to ponder the day’s events as she drifted off to sleep. “Ah, another wonderful day with my wonderful angels. I simply can’t wait until tomorrow...”
As the living goddess fell asleep, the instigator from earlier in the day arrived in front of her mouth via jet, potion in hand. “And now, it’s time to shrink, you overgrown freak!” With that, he poured the vial’s entire contents into her mouth, watching as they became absorbed into her system before leaving.
No one knew what the potion’s true effects would be. Only time would tell if the monolithic mother would indeed return to a mortal size, despite her love of growth and her massive height.
