When in trouble, there was always one thing a teenage girl could do to make herself feel better: get condolences from her friends. Being a giantess, a beautiful one at that, Jaz had no lack of friends all over the world; but there were only a few she actually considered to be best friends. Some of the kids from her hometown in Virginia, surely they'd be able to help cheer her up a tad. With her eyes she located the small speck that was Hampton, Virginia in the mild distance. Half a dozen states away from New York, yet to Jaz it barely registered as a walk. Regardless, hearing some comforting voices would do her some good; the giantess rose to her feet, a small, but loud boom which echoed like all the others. So as to not be rude, Jaz called out to her friends, "Hey! Guys! I'm visiting home for a bit!" There was no conceivable way her voice wouldn't have reached her friends. It may not have been…the most polite way to inform her friends, but in light of recent events Jaz didn't care. Actually…she wouldn't have cared anyway. She took a few steps into the ocean, already over a fourth of the way there.
Inside the coast-town of Hampton a few people began to make their way to the beach. None of them lived too far from it, about ten minutes at best, and they knew whenever Jaz was on her way it was time to head there to meet her. Especially with what happened not too long ago with her recent growth, the news had yet to shut up about it. By the time Jaz had arrived to Virginia, there were already two people there, with others likely on the way.
It eased Jaz's heart upon seeing the two familiar specks, the two people closest to the beach and, in-turn, the people who got there the fastest, her closest friends: Whitney and Robert. Upon arriving just at the right distance, Jaz carefully lowered herself so her face would be right before her friends. Just the right amount of distance so she could see and hear them. Both her friends showed clear surprise at how much bigger Jaz was, but they didn't have any negative looks or comments regarding it. Ever since Jaz grew they were perhaps, the most understanding.
Robert was the best male friend Jaz had. A young white boy from a slightly poor family. Smart and a tad witty, but he was always the first person to offer to help solve a problem. More often than not, he had useful insight too. Robert tended to dress in jeans and t-shirts, not too different from Jaz actually. Only, obviously, he wore stuff made for men. At about 5"11" he stood at a nice fair height, although absolutely nothing in comparison to his gigantic friend. It was also pretty much certain he had a crush on Jaz, and would often go extra leaps and bounds for her. But Jaz never reciprocated the feelings, not to mention the fact she couldn't exactly get intimate with a boy the size of dirt to her. Surprisingly it had next to nothing to do with Jaz being a giantess either. Robert had feelings for her for years, back when she could loosely be called "normal-sized." In his eyes, her height just made her more beautiful.
The other friend was Jaz's closest female friend, Whitney. She was a young black girl with a complexion and facial structure not unlike Jaz herself. The key difference was longer hair, often worn down, and a slightly less endowed body. In all fairness though, the latter was hard to determine considering Whitney generally wore a black hoody and jeans with boots. Her body was something she never showed off because Whitney was incredibly shy. The kind of person who rarely, if ever, talked; although with Jaz it was quite the opposite, she opened up to the giantess all the time. Not exactly a chatterbox, but it was pretty evident she was a lot closer to her friend than anyone else. Even Robert had a hard time getting any words from her. Personality-wise, she was a lot like Jaz though. The main differences were volume and confidence. Jaz had no problems speaking her mind and getting in your face (Her size helped quite a bit) whereas Whitney usually just shrugged or used facial expressions to convey what she means. In terms of tastes, basic personality, and even looks, the two were quite similar. A lot of people joked they were twins back when they were closer to the same height. Nowadays people wonder something else, as Whitney never showed any interest in men. Now, that may be shyness, but many people often found it curious she had no problems opening up to Jaz. At 5"5" She was shorter than Robert, but again, nothing in comparison to her giant friend.
The black giantess couldn't help but giggle a bit at seeing them even smaller than before. "Hey guys. Miss me?"
Whitney nodded, mumbling something inaudible. Robert's eyes shifted to Jaz's cleavage for a moment, "Uh, y-yeah. How've you been Jaz?" If she were any smaller, Jaz would've noticed his face was a tad red.
"Not too good…" The black giantess slumped. She extended a finger towards the coast, carefully stopping her nail before it came anywhere near anything resembling civilization. That left it about ten feet from shore; they got a little wet doing it, but her friends climbed aboard and Jaz brought them up closer to her face.
Up close, it was even harder for them to believe how much she grew. Her fingernail alone had enough space for whole city blocks. The looming face of their friend was just…so large…it was hard not to feel insignificant. Between the two of them they could…hell they couldn't even cover half of a percent of Jaz's immense face. Her pores seemed like they were sizable enough for them. And from Jaz's perspective, even up-close, it was like looking at two ants.
Whitney stepped forward to pat Jaz's finger in consolation. Robert did the same, "Yeah I heard all about what happened. I'm sorry to hear…" Nothing much else could be said. Jaz wiped out thousands. The fact she stopped sobbing and was actually capable of anything other than flat out being sad was enough a miracle in itself.
"I didn't mean to do any harm…"
Surprisingly Whitney spoke up; more surprising considering Robert was there. "What's done is done. You didn't mean to do anything bad and we all understand that…" Quite lengthy from her, her voice was surprisingly feminine unlike what one would expect from a quiet girl.
Jaz smiled, "Thanks Whitney, you always know what to say."
"She never says anything." Robert pointed out.
"Maybe you could learn from that." Jaz retorted.
All three of the friends stated laughing a little bit.
"I'm already feeling a bit better." The giantess smiled.
"We're just that great." The small male friend grinned; Whitney bonked him on the head.
The friendly carefree banter of the three friends continued on for quite some time. With people helping her mood Jaz was able to temporarily forget all about the trouble she'd caused and the destruction of her feet. Her closest friends were here with her, that's all she'd needed. Other, not-as-close friends, showed up from time to time. But seeing Jaz already had her favorites doing the job needed, they moved on. Trouble in the world was getting worked out slowly but surely. Jaz's voice echoed enough that many heard her conversation, and they realized she was hurt more by this tragedy than anything. Something would have to be done of course, but a lot of people were a lot less angry than they were before.
After about two hours of talking Jaz noticed the sun was directly above her, signifying midday. She looked down to her boob, addressing the two specks on it. "Thanks for everything guys."
Having been placed on the appendage by Jaz due to laziness, Whitney smiled softly and nodded. Robert did the same, mainly because that the location prevented him from speaking without making it painfully clear he was infatuated with the giant girl. Or at least, he couldn't talk without seeming like a pervert.
"You know…" Jaz looked to the sky, "Sometimes I get a little lonely being this big. I mean…I don't have anyone else like this…I can't hug anyone, kiss anyone, or even touch someone like this. I wouldn't mind if I had a little bit of company at my size for a while." She looked to Whitney, "We'd have a lot of fun eh Whitney?"
"What about me?" Robert piped up.
"You'll be our pet." Jaz laughed playfully. Whitney chuckled, Robert laughed too but he didn't exactly respond negatively to the retort.
"I have you guys either way." She smiled, "Best friends right?
Both her friends nodded.
Jaz felt her mood lift a lot. There was still the faint sadness, but her friends had done wonders for her mood. She meant what she said though. Despite all her attitude, being a giantess was really lonely for Jaz. She often wondered what would happen if someone like Whitney grew, or if she were shrunken to normal size. Even if just temporarily.
Ha, like anything's gonna happen.
Interestingly enough, something did happen…
