"Nooooooooooooo! Doooooooooooon't!", screamed Joseph and the people with him. Too late in some ways as Vera had already lifted the earth like a large football towards her face. Explosions and earthquakes wracked the earth as her beautifully manicured ring clad fingers touched the surface, snuffing out cities and multi millions if not billions of the remaining inhabitants of earth. Vera lifted the planet to her waiting mouth...........and then quickly pout the earth back...."heehee only teasing", she giggled, "I wasn't going to eat it...........for now.....heehee just teasing again...". As usual she was oblivious to the damage she had done. The earth's population previously reduced from 7 billion to 4 billion by her use as a footstool had now been reduced to 1 billion at a stroke and Vera was so light hearted about it.
Joseph had to pretend to be happy and indulgent to continue to keep her happy to stop her damaging the earth and everything else much more:_
