"Really?", replied Vera, "that sounds really cool, it's been a bit kinda boring around here recently", (pauses to swat aside a stray aircraft). "Boring?", Anna thought to herself with a certain amount of amazement, "this girl thinks what she has been doing is boring?"....."well, before the last few of days, anyway", said Vera quickly, " I've been becoming aware recently that I'm closer to discovering why I'm here, what I am doing here......shall we walk?" "Sure" said Anna as they set off towards Vera's home, crunching already destroyed landscape under each step of their huge boots, Anna's motorcycle gouging great chasms through the ground, slicing many of the remaining intact roads, escape routes for the fleeing populace, those left after the devastation. Anna was all ears as Vera, arms folded across her chest, brown leather jacketed arms pushing up her barely covered cleavage, her necklaces and pendants clanking emphasising her bronzed chest, her black leather gloved right hand highlighted against the brown as she rested it on her left upper arm just above the inside of her elbow, while the other disappeared under the same place the other side, exposing some of the multiple bangles she wore on her wrists, continued talking. "Anyway when you came along this feeling grew that something important was happening, my destiny was being revealed, a sense of identity, of worth, and then watching you nonchalantly casually crushing everything you touched and so matter of factly, it made me feel so warm inside, the power, the control, and wrecking that dam, that was one of the most awesome things I have ever done. It's been really lonely with only these tiny people as company, I have 1000s upon 1000s of them, catering for my every need, if I accidentally squashed some there would be more (giggle). And I have wrecked a few cities in my time, some out of boredom, hey, they were just there, but mostly if I didn't get what I wanted....heehee.......which leads to the one question I have........what about my father?"
