Before she could think of an escape strategy or something, the acid quickly covered her, giving her a light burning sensation. It wasn't long before she saw her hands and feet slowly fade away.
It wasn't long before the burning pain and the overbearing smell was enough to make her black out entirely, the stomach finishing her off.
It had been weeks since anyone had seen Erza had mysteriously vanished. The last time anyone saw her was when she went up to get a job, so many believed she was just out on a misson (or something simply could have happened to her) but nobody remembered seeing her leave the door.
They never did find what happened to the knight. Although, when Happy did go to relieve himself, he did find it odd when he saw (and felt) what looked like tiny metal armor in his waste. He decided not to tell anyone, though.
