Due to human folly, the world is filled with monsters and human hybrids...and even mythical creatures! The Police Company has several of these mythical animals including werewolves and a kitsune, as well as other mythic animals. The only human in the Police Company is Kando, who had lost her parents to monsters when she was a baby. Kando still fears all non-humans, despite her being with the Police Company. Kando is just a human; she has no supernatural powers to fall back on when she's disarmed during a job...although, that rarely happens because Kando's a good cop. She's unlucky in the love department though. The only good-looking male in the P.C. was Batanen, but he was a total prevert. Kando sighed as she worked with the too-small body armor that she wore. It was the end of a very long day. Earlier that day, Kando, along with Sakura and Natsuki, were hunting down a dragon named Jadara who had eaten countless humans and had 17 counts of molesting human females. If the P.C. could nab Jadara, they would have enough money to get body armor that actually fit and have real silver bullets. Kando really wanted to nab this Jadara and bring him to justice. Eating humans was just plain wrong, and was against the law. Humans were on the endangered speicies list, something that may have seemed impossible in the Last Age. There were only 1.5 million humans in the world, a species that once numbered in the billions. Killing a human was a grave offense, and could get you a one-way ticket to Death Row.
Kando wasn't the only person in the woman's dressing room; Natsuki and Sakura were in the room too talking about what would they do later that night.
Sakura was a sexy kitsune that had 8 and 1/5th tails. She had been trying to grow her ninth and final tail for years now...for 160 years to be exact! Sakura had joined the Police Company to eat Natsuki to grow her final tail...but to no avail. Natsuki had zapped Sakura with a lightning bolt the last time she had tried to eat Natsuki. Sakura only wanted to grow her last tail. If a kitsune grew nine tails, they would gain even more supernatural powers and become a minor god (or so the old legends say). There haven't been any kitsune with nine tails so far, and Sakura wanted to be the first one ever.
"Want to go to Makoto and Ayami's for a drink?" asked Natsuki.
Natsuki and Sakura were in thier civilian clothing and were waiting for Kando to finish to see if she wanted to have a drink with the pair.
"I could use a drink after the day we had" said Sakura.
Jadara had gotten away all because Natsuki started to play with Sakura's tails...which made Sakura and Kando furious with the cat-girl.
"Anyway, what were you saying to Mudagami earlier?" asked Natsuki.
"I was asking him about our bullets" said Sakura. "our bullets are NOT silver...just silver-plated. I was asking him to get more silver bullets for us...but he was like 'Silver bullets are super expensive' and all that bullshit"
"If only we captured Jadara, our problems would be over" said Kando, coming over to the pair after finally getting her body armor off.
"Forget about that" said Natsuki. "it's time to par-tay!"
Sakura's stomach growled...or more like roared.
"Geez, Sakura" said Kando. "was that your stomach or a car backfiring?"
"Yeah,yeah" said Sakura, as the three of them all exited the dressing room together.
