Mouse; AKA Sorata Muon, AKA Art Teacher Squeak. As the latest Mouse in the long line of the Muon family, Sorata was quickly becoming something of a legend. Mouse could steal anything he wanted and he had stolen quite a bit; he once stole an entire building because a police detective dared him to do so on television. There wasn't anything in the world that Mouse couldn't steal. Sorata usually stole historical artifacts. He even stole the Venus Necklace for Mei. The Venus Necklace was a necklace that was made out of an emerald the size of a basketball, along with other precious jewels. Yes, nothing was safe from Mouse.
Mouse usually left a card somewhere that told about his next big heist. When this latest card showed up, the card had said that the Statue of Liberty will be his in three weeks. The news about Mouse's next heist went global and people wondered how could the world-famous thief can possibly steal the Statue of Liberty. Despite the fact that he was a thief, Mouse had fans all over the world. These fans of Mouse's would show up to see each of Mouse's heists...mostly because they wanted a peek at his three sexy servants. Mei, Yayoi and Hazuki were quite popular, but not as popular as Mouse himself.
At first, it was thought that the stealing of the Statue of Liberty was a hoax, until it was comfirmed that the card did indeed came from Mouse. Securtiy was at an all-time high at the Statue of Liberty during the three weeks leading up to the robbery.
In the morning of the day of the robbery, nothing much was happening. A crowd of Mouse's fans had shown up on Liberty Island in hopes to see Mouse do the impossible; steal the Statue of Liberty.
