Lust's mind was whirring with the plan she had thought up. After hearing Dante's insane talks she knew that she would never become human if she kept with her. Her last hope was with the Elrics. She could only hope they would listen to her and help her. She glanced down at Wrath who was staring intently ahead, smirking as he imagined ripping Ed's remaining limbs off for himself.
Behind them, Sloth slithered her liquid form thick enough to move stealithy, but slick enough to move fast. Already Sloth knew Lust wasn't to be trusted entirely. The looks of hate, the careless regard of carefully laid plans; it all spoke of rebellion. But if Lust ever did show her true colors and betray them totally, Sloth would make sure she didn't live to betray them again.
It didn't take the tireless homunculi long to get out of the underground city and dash through Central to the outskirts of the city.
"Wait." Lust said as Wrath prepared to run ahead.
"What?" He said, glaring at Lust.
"It'll take far too long if we run there. We're going to have to take the train."
Wrath spit at that. "That could take just as long!"
"Don't be a fool. Resembool is far out past the borders of East City. We're taking the train."
Wrath grumbled and would've protested, but didn't bother wasting the energy. Quick as she could, Lust swiped a jacket for herself and Wrath, and a pair of shoes for Wrath. After that, she bought the tickets and minutes after that they were speeding on the train towards Resembool.
"I told you this would be faster." Lust said, staring out the window.
Wrath didn't say anything. His mind was focused on other things.
On top of the train car they were sitting in, Sloth drained herself into a hole and held up in the overhead compartments. It was night now, but the train journey probably wouldn't take more than a few hours. Then the real job would begin...
