The city of Rizenbul can be a boring place. But not for Winry Rockbell. The young automail mechanic was born and raised in the small city. Her grandmother took care of her since her parents were killed in Ishbal all those years ago. It was Winry who made the automail that Edward Elric uses for his arm and leg. And that's partly why Rizenbul could be boring.
Edward and Alphonse Elric almost never visited thier old home town unless Ed needed a new set of automail arm and leg. Winry has tried to get Ed to come and stay in Rizenbul for a vacation, but Ed always refused to go on vacation. Alphonse was hardly better than Ed. Winry had to come up with something to make the two boys stay in Rizenbul for a while. The reason why Winry wanted Ed and Al to visit is because she missed the pair. She also missed the good old days when the three would play with each other. Those were the days when Ed and Al's mother was still alive. Ed and Al's mother was very important to the brothers. So important, that the two boys tried to bring her back to life, resulting in the automail arm and leg that Ed has now. Al had lost his entire body that fateful night too. Winry could remember when the two boys came into her grandmother's shop with Ed bleeding everywhere. Two days later, Ed was fitted with an automail arm and leg...and then, the two were off to become State Alchemist. Ed became the State Alchemist as it turned out, because they would discover what had happened to Al if Al became a State Alchemist.
The last time that Ed and Al was in Rizenbul was when something happened to Al and Ed. Edward had his arm missing and Al looked like something exploded in the armor. Ed and Al wouldn't explain to Winry what had happened either.
Winry spent most of her days working on automail. When she wasn't working on automail, she was looking in alchemy books. Winry did know a little alchemy, but alchemy took a backseat to automail in Winry's book. The reason why she was looking in alchemy books was to find out a way to keep Ed and Al in Rizenbul the next time they came.
Back in the old days, Ed and Winry was looking through an alchemy book together. Winry didn't understand what was on the pages, so Ed had explained what the pages meant. One page had caught Winry's attention. It was on the subject of swallowing large objects. The page was entitled, "Alchemy Vore" --or so Winry thought. It was when she was seven, after all.
"AHA!" said Winry one stormy afternoon, reading an alchemy book.
Eatting with Alchemy
Alchemist throughout the ages have tried to master this branch of alchemy. This branch of alchemy concerns that of swallowing people whole and alive. The person inside the stomach doesn't digest..or so the theory goes. A lot of people are digested if you draw the tranmutation circle wrongly on the tongue. No alchemist was sucessfull in doing this correctly. If the circle is drawn incorrectly, the results can be too horrible to think about*.
Hmmmm. The circle looked easy enough to remember how it looks. The tricky part would be to draw the transmutation circle on the tongue. Winry could see why that this branch of alchemy could be dangerous. But...if it worked..then Winry could eat Ed to get him to stay in Rizenbul for more than a few days.
Winry looked in the mirror as she drew the transmutation circle on her tongue. It didn't hurt much because she was drawing it with chalk. The taste of the chalk almost made Winry gag, but she managed to finish drawing the circle. When she was done, the circle glowed white and turned black. It now looked like a tattoo.
